The ATS Center for Biblical Stewardship had a successful course on ‘Vision, Mission and Organizational Leadership’ last September 23-24, 2011. Our teacher Dr. Agnes Sarthou taught the basics of Organizational Development, focusing on how to use strategies toward building adaptive organizations and leading change.
Fourteen students from 10 various organizations attended the course and shared the following comments:
- It was very helpful not only to myself but for my organization.
- [The lessons were] very timely to what our organization needs.
- [The course was] very relevant and helpful in evaluating organization
- I like the mode and style of teaching and the varied tools shared to help us fully understand some important principles.
- The personal testimony of the speaker is really a blessing
- We were led to more time of reflection, very illuminating.
Almost half of the students gave a perfect 10 rating for the course, and the rest gave 8 & 9 ratings. As part of the Certificate Program in Managing Non-Profit Organizations, this course is equipping more and more students to be good, wise and faithful stewards of God in their respective work and ministries.
